OperaArts and the City of Palm Desert will present the Festival of Opera and Art on Sunday, April 11th, noon-5:00 p.m. at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, San Pablo and Fred Waring. This is a free concert for the public and will feature professional singers with an orchestra of 33 under the direction of Maestro Gualtiero Negrini. Well-known musical selections from La Boheme, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, operetta and South Pacific will be presented. There will be interactive art displays and food and non-alcoholic beverages for sale. Bring your chairs, blankets and friends for this day of musical and artistic celebration.
